ATLANTA BRAVES -170

Staying on the Kris Medlen bandwagon and not getting off. The kid has won his last 6 decisions and has an overall record of 8-1 with a sensational 1.64 ERA. He is pretty much unhittable and untouchable. Medlen's thrown 2 complete in his last 5 games pitched with one being a shutout and the other with an UNEARNED run. The Braves have been riding him the second half of the season and so have I. He is "money in the bank". In Medlen's career against the Nationals he has more strikeouts than innnings pitched with 23Ks to 20 innnings pitched. He also sports a lifetime ERA of 1.80 against the Nationals. You add the bats of the Braves and that equals a winning formula. Bats such a Bourn, Prado, McCann, Heyward, Freeman, Uggla and the ageless one CHIPPER JONES!!! It also helps to have the dominant closer in Craig Kimbrel who is having another great season with 35 saves and almost twice as many STRIKEOUTS than innings pitched!!! Kimbrel has 98Ks to only 53 innings pitched!!! Oh yeah and he also has a 1.18 ERA, the dude is LIGHTS OUT in the ninth. I sense the Nationals are a little demoralized after the team decided to shut down ace Stephen Strasburg. I fully expect an easy win for the Braves tonight. So like always, start your weekend off with a good win and get excited for NFL on Sunday. Take the Atlanta Braves and thank me 2marrow morning.
