Great win last night with the Cincinnati Reds. Just so you guys know my record for the month of August was an incredible 11-4-1 !!!! So for those of you who have been loyal everyday and reading my blog, YOU ARE VERY WELCOME. Today we are officially in September and lets start the month off with a good win.
This afternoon I am taking an UNDERDOG in the Philadelphia Phillies. Cliff Lee is pitching for the Phils and their UNDERDOGS??? You can't get a better value than that. The Atlanta Braves blew the game last night with a lead going into the ninth inning and the last few nights the Braves have exhausted their bullpen. They've used almost every single reliever they have. The Phillies are starting to put things together with Utley and Howard back into their lineups everyday. They've gotten production from everywhere including Mayberry who hit the game winning 3R HR last night and Kratz who hit the game tying HR against one of the best closer in Kimbrel. In Cliff Lee's career against the Braves he has more strikeouts than innings pitched against them with 49IP and 54Ks. In Lee's last 10 games he hasn't walked more than 1 batter. Expect Lee to do what he always does and pitch the Phillies into the win column. Do yourself a favor and take the Phils as an UNDERDOG this afternoon and thank me 2marrow morning.
